Is there a vegan version of CaloVital?

Yes, we are pleased to announce that starting April 1, 2024, there will also be three vegan versions of CaloVital: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Further varieties are in development.

Can I take CaloVital only with milk?

You can basically take CaloVital with any drink you can imagine, such as water, milk, juice. We recommend milk not only for the best taste, but also for additional calories, proteins, vitamins and minerals.

Do I have to stick to the recommended daily dose?

Basically, this dose is a recommendation from us. Of course, less is no problem depending on your desired weight. If you want to take significantly more CaloVital, you should clarify this with your doctor if in doubt.

Can children also take CaloVital?

For children, we recommend the CaloKids PowerShake, an energy-rich multivitamin drink with 27 essential vitamins and minerals. It's ideal as a children's sip of water. Please ensure a balanced and varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Does CaloVital taste artificial?

No, and that's precisely what sets CaloVital apart from all other high-calorie liquid nutrition products. Our greatest motivation is to develop liquid nutrition products that taste authentic and delicious.

Is CaloVital also suitable for diabetics?

No, but our hard-working development team is currently working on a version for diabetics. We expect it to launch soon.

How long does CaloVital last?

When stored closed and in a cool, dry place, CaloVital has a shelf life of two years from the date of production.

Does the health insurance company cover the costs for CaloVital?

If your doctor prescribes CaloVital as a high-calorie liquid food for weight gain, some health insurance companies will cover the costs. Please check with your insurance company beforehand.

Are new flavors planned?

New flavors, Pistachio & Multivitamin, are currently in development. Launch is planned soon.

What is the CaloCake and who is it designed for?

CaloCake is a high-calorie energy bar (592 kcal per serving) specially developed for people with increased energy needs. These include athletes, busy professionals, or those who struggle to meet their calorie needs through regular meals. Its combination of carbohydrates, proteins, and healthy fats supports targeted weight gain or caloric supplementation.

How is the CaloCake integrated into the diet plan?

The CaloCake is a ready-made bar and can be used flexibly:

As a meal replacement when time is limited (e.g. in everyday working life).

As a post-workout snack for quick energy and protein supply.

As a caloric supplement between meals (e.g. in combination with CaloSoup or liquid nutrition).
Storage: Unopened at room temperature; after opening, keep refrigerated

Is CaloCake also suitable for strength athletes or bodybuilders?

Yes, CaloCake is also ideal as a high-calorie bar for children. We recommend a minimum age of 6 years. After consulting a doctor, it can also be taken at a younger age.

Is CaloCake also suitable for children?

No, unlike most high protein or high carb bars, CaloCake tastes absolutely authentic.

Does CaloCake taste artificial?

Was ist der Unterschied zu anderen Appetitanregern?

Der Unterschied liegt vor allem darin, dass wir bei unseren Kapseln keinerlei Chemie sondern rein pflanzliche Inhaltsstoffe einsetzen. Dadurch wird das Risiko von Nebenwirkungen erheblich reduziert.

Kann ich die Kapseln auch in der Apotheke bekommen?

Unsere Kapseln sind bereits in vielen Apotheken stationär wie auch online erhältlich. Sollte eine Apotheke die Kapseln mal nicht haben, kann sie diese über den Apotheken Großhandel nachbestellen.
