1. access data and hosting

You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Each time you access the site, the web server automatically saves a server log file (e.g., IP address, date/time, amount of data transferred). Hosting by Shopify: We use the e-commerce platform Shopify (Shopify International Ltd., Ireland). Data may be transferred to Shopify Inc. (Canada/USA). This is protected by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

2. data collection for contract processing & logistics

We collect personal data when you provide it to us in connection with your order or when contacting us (e.g., via email). Required fields are mandatory for processing the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

Fulfillment by Shipmunks: To fulfill the contract, we forward your order data to our logistics partner for order picking and shipping preparation:
Shipmunks (c/o KAP3 PREMIUM PRODUCTS, Nirmer Weg 20, 52080 Aachen) .

Shipping: Your name and address will be shared with DHL or DPD. With your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), we will transmit your email address and, if applicable, your telephone number to the shipping provider so that they can contact you to announce the delivery.

3. age verification (youth protection)

If goods are subject to age restrictions, we use the SCHUFA Identity Check (SCHUFA Holding AG, Wiesbaden) for age verification (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) to comply with legal requirements for youth protection. No credit check is performed in this process.

4. payment processing & credit check

We forward payment data to commissioned credit institutions or payment service providers (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Klarna). In the case of advance payment (e.g., purchase on account), we reserve the right to obtain identity and credit information from specialized service providers (e.g., SCHUFA, Creditreform Boniversum) in order to protect our legitimate interests (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Newsletter: Registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

We use Google Maps or Bing Maps to visually display locations. This involves transmitting your IP address to these providers. You can prevent this by disabling JavaScript in your browser.
